Neppedia

I was just thinking that there are probably thousands of videos on YouTube that provide people who have tips and tricks to running content creation businesses online but after watching a number of them, I was left with a disjointed picture of just what I should be expected to do on any given day - as the choices seemed endless. So to put it into some kind of collective perspective Neppedia, I've written this short article to try to provide the confused reader a much better picture of what a day in the life span of a content creator might actually look like.

Beginning with the most obvious of waking up, making coffee and trying to clear your brain for work, how I usually start my day is by looking at some RSS feeds (while drinking said coffee of course) and perusing a number of articles and photos in categories I'm thinking about with a view to learning more about my chosen new profession and also selecting good ones to "curate" and pass onto other potentially interested people on several social media marketing platforms.

I share the good ones I find with people on Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook and Google+ primarily at the moment in addition - you will find other good platforms than these - but they're the people I began with and they still get most of my focus. I "+1" and "Like" good content I find on the way and comment on the job of others where I feel the urge as all things considered, others are investing in effort as well and their contributions ought to be getting recognition from me just like I am hoping to be getting recognition for my contributions.

I've usually by this time earmarked within my mind a task that I feel like focusing on that day - and this is a pretty fluid thing. I could have planned your day before to work with something today but when I find my juices flowing in another direction after starting your day, then that's usually where I go.

It's much simpler to create everything you are feeling desire for at the moment as opposed to pushing yourself to create something you aren't feeling alive about but had planned to work on. And you usually prove a much better product in this way as well. That is the majority of my day, that of trying to create something worthy of being published.

When I've completed a fresh content item such as a YouTube video, I upload it to YouTube, annotate it and share it across my connected social media marketing platforms to those that I am hoping would be thinking about viewing it. I make an effort to promote it to generate interest without being pushy about this which I've learned absolutely kills you out there. Respect people's right to select for themselves and you'll fare much better.

I then usually take time out near the conclusion of your day to check to observe how things are going (Google Analytics, viewing statistics, e-mails, and comments received, etc.) and I communicate back once again to those where I could who've commented at all on my creations or any one of my activities in social media marketing that day.

If I still have some energy and still feel like working, I'll cap off my day looking at ways to boost my visible social presence. This may mean focusing on improving a Profile, focusing on and updating my website, reproofing and cleaning up articles, or researching other places on the Internet that may be useful to take part in or link to.

Then I'm done Neppedia. I could shorten, lengthen or completely ignore some of the above tasks (except the coffee) on any given day according to my energy levels. And that's what I like probably the most relating to this lifestyle. I don't have to work when I'm not in the mood to and I can really work hard on other days when I feel the drive within me. For me, this lifestyle sure beats an 8 AM to 5 PM plus employed in an office existence!
